The model of psychoeducation used in this programme, has been in use since 2003. To date, over 1000 GP’s and other health professionals have trained in using this model
These psychological principles have now been adapted for use by parents, teachers and community leaders.
A dedicated team of experts in the field of business, media and fund raising has been established.
The programme was launched in University College Dublin in May 2019 by the Junior minister of health Jim Daly and the Minister for Social Protection Regina Doherty
The programme has been piloted very successfuly.
The roll out of the programme continued in March 2019, in two further schools.
Development of further parts of the programme, namely a comprehensive parent and student programme for 1st year is due to commence in April 2019 with full roll out in September 2019.
